Just 12 hours from the UK and one hour ahead, South Africa has become a leading holiday destination in a short space of time and one visit is never enough, especially if you are a golfer.

Challenging and exciting rounds of golf are complemented by scenic beauty that ranges from sand dunes and cliff faces to tropical flowers, mountains, and lakes, and of course there is unrivalled hospitality in the clubhouse afterwards!

The Western Cape and The Garden Route are the most popular regions for golfers. You can combine playing some of the best courses you will ever play with exploring the amazing coastline and attractions.  One of my favourite itineraries starts in Port Elizabeth and ends in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town. Along the way, you can play at St. Francis Bay Links, Mossel Bay, Hermanus, Stellenbosch and Pearl Valley…Just a few of the many terrific courses.

Knowing many of the hotel or Bed & Breakfast owners personally (as well as plenty of restaurant proprietors!), I will be delighted to recommend the right type of accommodation for you.  You may wish to include stays at golf-resorts such as Fancourt, Arabella and Erinvale, and combine these with smaller establishments which can offer a more personal experience.  Either way, I will provide a detailed itinerary to enable you to plan your length of stay, distances involved and a budget to suit.

I still visit South Africa regularly and every trip renews my passion for this beautiful nation.

I look forward to sharing ‘my second home’ with you.
