ABOUT THE HOTEL
A very short taxi from the centre of the former Papal city, Le Prieure is a refined mix of contemporary and classic concentrating around the 14th-century former monastery originally built by the nephew of Pope Jean XXII.
The 38 bedrooms come in four categories and are split among the Priory, the Chapel and the Atrium. All are beautifully presented.
Avignon is famous for food and Le Prieure is no exception with its terrace, Provencal cuisine and Michelin star.
