  • Owned by the Champagne houses
  • Newly renovated clubhouse and course

The oldest golf club in the region with a clubhouse named as the “Grand Old Lady”, Golf de Reims Champagne was first laid out in 1928 by no less than Tom Simpson on what was known as Parc du Roederer.  The owners then (and still) were a club of Champagne producers and a bubbly is served at very attractive rates in the clubhouse.  We’re delighted to say that the course is starting to look and feel  very nice again with investment and TLC in irrigation, practice facilities, clubhouse and maintenance standards.  Just a short drive from the city of Reims, the course is a flat and quite tricky woodland measuring about 6700 yards off the whites.  The Slope Rating is 134 with a mix of quite long par fours and some par fives where you could get a birdie.  Having played in the French Amateur Club Championship here a few years ago, I hold fond memories of Golf de Reims-Champagne (not least because we won!) but it never lets you relax until you take your first sip in the 19th!
