ABOUT THE HOTEL

Host to Robert Louis Stevenson while he wrote Treasure Island in 1883, Le Bas Breau is a splendid step back in time.  This former hunting lodge has a gourmet restaurant with summer terrace, a great-value bistro, lounge with fireplace and summer gardens with pool.  Service is attentive and friendly. The 20 bedrooms are intricate and correspond with the feel of the rest of the hotel. Set in the heart of Barbizon, you have the village to the right of the hotel and the forest to the left. One of our favourites.
