Beautifully contoured fairways weave through pine, cork and oak trees to well-protected multi-tiered greens. The fairways are quite generous and it’s not long off the forward tees so if you can keep your concentration, there are plenty of pars to be had. However, too many players find the all-too-spectacular hazards rather attractive.

Set out on quite hilly terrain just a couple of miles inland from the Atlantic, the raised tees offer wonderful views. And the course is looking fresh as a daisy after landscaping and buggy path work.
