L’Ailette is arguably the best course in Champagne

Very pretty and set round a lake with several excellent and testing holes, this is definitely one for your itinerary.

Much of the course is cut through mature woodland but several of these also have superb water hazards so there is plenty of opportunity to prove your game and enjoy the surroundings.

L’Ailette is a challenge for the best of golfers off the back tees and excellent holiday golf is provided off the forwards. Easy walking apart from three or four hilly holes. Nine miles south-west of Laon and 24 miles north of Reims.
