Hardelot Les Dunes in Northern France is the beautiful sister course of Hardelot Les Pins and comes with privileged access and green fees with French Golf Holidays. With huge pine trees, generous fairways and a very slick design, Hardelot New is a long-term favourite of French Golf Holidays clients. Open for nearly 15 years, Hardelot New has been “tweaked” a couple of times.
To make your score on Hardelot Les Dunes, aim for more points on the shortish Par fours as the Par Threes are long and quite tight and the Par Fives often require three good shots. The key is not necessarily good driving as the fairways are generous but you have to get your approach shot right – greens are large and well-protected so the wrong club could wreak havoc with your golf holiday score.
Hardelot Les Dunes features tough driving positions, where a long iron is sometimes the sensible play, and well-protected greens surrounded by deep, deep bunkers and pine trees. Hardelot New is a treat for the eyes and, if you’re swinging well and not too greedy, you should post a good score. The clubhouse at Hardelot Les Dunes is impressive – a large fireplace, large sports screen and views down several fairways (and not forgetting the tasty food!) set the tone for a stylish but relaxed ambience.
