Plettenberg Bay Country Club Golf Course

The golf course at Plettenberg Bay Country Club is an 18- hole parkland course built on a private nature reserve that is frequently visited by local wildlife like monkeys, baboons and woodpecker.  Although the Plettenberg course is popular among tourists because of its location and scenery, there are plenty of technical challenges for very keen golfers. The course plays at about 6000 metres from the men’s tees and all greens and bunkers are to USGA specifications. And there are plenty of water features, deep bunkers, weird angles, and lengthy holes to test the most skilled golfer.

The modern yet charming clubhouse at Plettenberg Bay has a spacious lounge and bar area with a big screen TV and a large veranda overlooking the 18th green offering majestic views of the surrounding countryside. The club also has a newly designed practice facility, complete with pitching, chipping and putting greens.
